Conversion of RSM Chio Lim to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

Please be informed that on 2 January 2009, pursuant to the Limited Liability Partnerships Act (Chapter 163A), RSM Chio Lim has converted to an accounting limited liability partnership - RSM Chio Lim LLP (UEN: T09LL0008J).

A limited liability partnership (LLP) is a new form of business entity which is increasingly being adopted by major professional firms. RSM Chio Lim has, since its establishment, prided itself as a non-family business, where admission to partnership is strictly by merit. To this end, we believe an LLP will further enhance our ability to attract and retain talents.

Transfer of business
As a result of the conversion, the business of RSM Chio Lim has been transferred to RSM Chio Lim LLP with effect from 2 January 2009. The registered office of RSM Chio Lim LLP remains at 8 Wilkie Road, #04-08 Wilkie Edge, Singapore 228095.

Specifically, clients should note that with effect from 2 January 2009:

• RSM Chio Lim LLP has replaced RSM Chio Lim as the provider of public accountancy services;
• Any document held by RSM Chio Lim, for and on behalf of our clients, has been transferred to RSM Chio Lim LLP to be held for or on behalf of the clients;
• Any money or funds held by RSM Chio Lim, for or on account of our clients, has been transferred to RSM Chio Lim LLP to be held for or on account of the clients.

Effect of conversion on audit appointments
The appointment as your entity’s auditor continues and has been automatically transferred upon conversion to RSM Chio Lim LLP. The conversion does not affect existing arrangements with us and our ongoing relationship with you.

You do not need to do anything on your part.
